  1. Hi Dave,

Not sure what you’re going to do with the results, but I am very curious to see them! Personally, I am making money online. I just don’t have enough time to grow my business large enough to be able to quit my day job, because I have a day job. A vicious circle. Maybe you can help?

    Thanks,

  2. Hi Dave, this is a question that I’ve been asking myself for months. I’ve had the unique opportunity to speak personally with both John Thornhill and Omar Martin but I’ve still found it difficult to even ask the right questions.

I’ve been building my websites consistently, building my list consistently, yet there seems to be a missing element. Help me to understand what that element is and I can’t tell you what that would be worth to me.

    1. Hey Robert,

It’s not just about building loads of websites and a list, there are many, many aspects that you need to all have working in harmony, not only that, but you need to have things in place in the right order.
It sounds to me that you could do with some personal coaching… Get everything working in harmony and I’m sure you WILL succeed.

      Regards,

      Dave.

  3. Hello David,

Your survey taught me more than you intended, I’ll wager.

For instance that you seem to feel that having fewer than 1000 subscribers means I don’t have a list. (They’ll be happy to learn that not only do I teach them about what we do, but also that they are not part of a list.)

    Best wishes,
    Linda

    1. Hey Linda,

Sorry, I do not feel that having less than 1,000 subscribers is irrelevant, far from it, 1k is an excellent achievement.
It simply proved that I am human, I missed out that number by mistake! 🙂
I have now added ‘up to 1,000 subscribers’ into the survey.

      Regards,

      Dave.

  4. Hi Dave,
I think that the main problem for a lot of people struggling to succeed online is the dreaded “information overload”, i know as i get this regularly. The trouble is getting your priorities right, what project to start first?.

    start a blog
    create you own product
    create a squeeze page
    build your list
    build your website
    sell ebooks on ebay
    twitter
    facebook
    plr products
    affiliate marketing
    etc, etc, etc
    And the list goes on.

This is why a lot people really could do with a mentor, someone who can just guide them in the right direction.
    Over to you Dave

    All the best

    1. Hey Gaz,

Yes, I know all too well the trouble a lot of people have with info overload, I’m working on something that will hopefully help a lot of people.

      Regards,

      Dave.

  5. Hi Dave,

Cheers to you for trying to help people succeed! I can sense from the amount of time it was since you last wrote a blog post, and the fact you had an online survey for us to participate in, that something BIG is coming our way.
Look out world, Dave Nicholson is coming through & he means business!

    Best regards,
    George Nieves

    1. Hey George,

Thanks for that, you could be onto something there 😉
Lets’ just say I have not been twiddling my thumbs for the last 6 month 🙂

      Regards,

      Dave.

  6. Hi Dave,

Thanks for taking the time to do this survey.
It’s nice to know that there are people out there that actually care what others think.

    Janet.

  7. Hello Dave,

Thanks for showing you care about what we think, I look forward to hopefully meeting you in person at Bristol on the weekend.

    Regards, Darren

  8. Hi Dave,

I do hope you’ll be publishing the results and %’s for us all to see.

It’s good to see where people are at 🙂

And I’m sure your coaching will be something special that will make a big difference to those who manage to take it 😉

  9. Hi Dave,
Thanks for taking the time to post the survey, I’m looking forward to the results.

    Best wishes,

  10. Hi again Dave,

Thanks for your reply. I didn’t leave any additional comments like you had requested.
I would like to know if you could help me develop a focused business plan for myself to follow & get organized here. I also need to learn how to automate all the processes of my business. What I can’t automate, I want to learn how to outsource to other people.
Will you coach me to SUCCESS?

    Best regards,
    George Nieves

    1. Hey George,

Thanks for your reply, yes, I’m sure I can help you with your business.
It sounds like much the same what I do personally.
Watch this space over the next couple of weeks 😉

      Regards,

      Dave.

  11. Hi! Dave

I have your Software & EBook Website online. You setup the site for me last week, thanks again. What I need is to learn how to setup my own sites & get them on the net myself. If you have a tutorial on this subject or coaching I would be interested in learning how?

Thanks for the survey, I also am looking forward to the results.

    Thanks,
    Terry

    1. Hey Terry,

No problem at all, happy to help.
Yes, I have something that is perfect for you, again, watch this space over the next couple of weeks! 🙂
I’ll get the survey results online when I get back from Bristol next week.

      Regards,

      Dave.

  12. Hi Dave,

Just filled the survey form. One comment, if a may: some of the questions could use multiple answers. They might show the respondent’s confusion (my answers would!), but that would be informative for your purposes too.

    Cheers,
    Jose

  13. Hi Dave

I have had a problem with information over load for years, I have just started Alex Jeffreys coaching course so am slowing getting my mind focused and starting to build a proper online business

    Julie

  14. Filled out the survey Dave and am looking forward to finding out whats been keeping you busy lately.

Personally, I would like help from a mentor who would look through my entire business and give me a plan of action of what I need to do to grow it – without it breaking the bank (lol).

    Warm Regards

    Dawn Kay

    1. @ Dawn – Hey Dawn, I will spill the beans on Thursday, thanks for your input! 🙂

@ Julie – Hi Julie, yeah, info overload is one of the biggest hurdles to overcome in this business, pleased to see you are on the right track now. 🙂

      Regards,

      Dave.

  15. Hi Dave, the suspense is killing me:)

I’m looking forward to what you have to say.

    Regards, Andy.

  16. Hi Dave,

Using surveys to find out what your reader and subscribers need looks like a very powerful strategy.

I have only come accross this strategy a short time ago and find that it is something that I want to persue further.

    Great idea mate

    Glyn

  17. Dave,

I just read through a few posts and participated in the survey. I like how you can use the survey to drill down to find the needs and wants of your readers. I think it is a great strategy to mine for ideas and produce relevant material that will be impactful and meaningful to your readership. I am looking forward to seeing what come out of this. Hopefully you will share with us your creative process.

    All the best,

    PJ

  18. Dave,

I started your survey but stopped, you see I have two separate answers to some of the questions. There are the ‘before’ MWA 3.0 Live answers and the ‘after’ answers.

Information overload is of course the biggest problem we all face and there is never enough time to read everything … but if there were … can you say migraine???

You say that you will “spill the beans” on Thursday, well that is tomorrow, I will try to come back then, or you could leave me a note on my blog (it will help with the contest Alex has going for 3.0) as well as maybe a thumbs up on my blog.

  19. Hi
I’m now one of Alex’s studens and I took your survey out of curiosty. If your planning on getting into coaching the survey was an excellent way to find out what people need and want. I wish you luck in whatever your plans are.
    Dorothy

  20. Hi Dave,
As a new coaching student, I am doing the rounds and would have liked to do your survey. Is it too late? I got an error message when I clicked on it, with the message to contact you.
I’ve just finished installing my blog and will tell my story soon. (I have to work tomorrow).
To cut a long story short, I was scammed in December 07 ($15,000) by a “Sharketer” (a shady internet marketer) and have been fighting for justice ever since. Using “trial by social media”, I created a genuine “guru’s nightmare” for this guy and built a list of his victims. Last month I triumphed and he settled.
My point is that social networking really is powerful stuff and I look forward now to using these methods to build a new list in my business.
I will be releasing my ebook soon. I gave the first draft to my list and aready some are getting results and have reached the negotiation table.
If any of your readers are interested in a copy of the book, check my blog next week.
All the best with your survey and if it is still open, I’d love to do it.
    Cheers,
    Gail

    1. Hey Gail,

      Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, I had to pull the survey so I could accurately compile the results, I’ll be making another post about it very soon.
I would also be interested to hear about your ‘sharketer’ (in private), if you get time you can contact me from the link at the top of this page.
Good luck with your new ventures.

      Regards,

      Dave.

  21. Hi Dave
I could’t see your survey, which is a pity because I was courious. I am a new student. Would be possible for you to comment on my blog?
    Thanks

    Anna

  22. Hi Dave,

I missed the boat on the survey, but I wanted to let you know just how much I have enjoyed (and benefited from) your 12 week coaching class. I finally launched my product on Clickbank and I’m ready to finish the course work.

    Excellent Course – Thank You.

    Joelle

  23. Hey Dave,

I too missed the survey, but I do like the idea of surveys, I guess it means tests your standing as a marketer , and that its all part of testing testing testing!

Looking forward to reading your *new* report….Ed.
