Utilize and BENEFIT From Lost Traffic

Hey guys,

I’m always being asked for additional ways to generate traffic, so I thought I’d create a short video showing a different way that you can Utilize and Benefit from what I call “Lost Traffic“. I’m sure you’ve actually been one of those ‘lost visitors‘ yourself, I know I have many, many times!

In the video, I’ll show you exactly how YOU can Utilize and Benefit from this really simple technique. You can also implement it multiple times, for greater success.

I’ll also provide you with all the ‘easy edit‘ pages that you need to implement this.

Checkout the video here:
Utilize and BENEFIT From Lost Traffic

You can download the package I talk about in the video HERE, no optin or anything required, just a zip file download.

I know a lot of people charge for this kind of content, so they may not like this, but I always try to help out as much as I can, so I’m GIVING you everything totally FREE as a subscriber of mine.

If you like the video and the package then please leave a comment.

Also, if you need even MORE traffic, then checkout the BRAND NEW Automatic Auction Traffic, it REALLY will help you to maximize your eBay store and drive AUTOMATIC traffic to your cash generating offers.

Please don’t forget to share and comment, even if you just want to say hi! 🙂

Regards,

Dave.
[EDIT] Oh, I have had a few people asking if they can use this video on their blogs, so here is the youtube version – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa44wvoLubk
All I ask is that you link back to my blog to download the package! 🙂

  1. Hey Dave,

That’s some amazing advice, not only to have your 404 pages look way better but to profit from them as well!

As for a product owner, this is brillant too, really liked your idea man, take care and keep bringing the good stuff!

Looking forward to come more often to your site 😉

  2. Hi Dave!
Great info…really learned something today. How do you insert the images on your error pages?
    Thanks.
    Kat.

    1. Hey Katia,

      I’m happy to help!
The images on the pages I gave you are loaded from my servers, if you look in the code you’ll see exactly how.
It will be easier if you use a HTML editor to add an image and change the image path to the complete URL, so for example, rather than images/image.jpg it would be http://www.yourdomain/image.jpg
Don’t forget to upload the image there too!
Make sure if you add any images that they are linking to the complete URL otherwise you will get dead image links when your page is shown.

      Regards,

      Dave.

  3. Great video Dave and thanks for the free download. That’s much appreciated.

I must admit, I’m a sucker for web stats and looking at which pages enter and exit my site.

This presentation has just reminded me of one of things on my list I need to do.

    Cheers mate,

    Des.

    1. Hey Des,

Thanks for your compliments, much appreciated!
You brought up a good point there Des, people should add stats to their error pages and see just how much traffic they would have lost if they never had the pages in place!

      Regards,

      Dave.

  4. Hi Dave,

Very impressive. Will try that out at some stage. Not doing much at the moment. Concentrating on Public Domain, slow time but enjoying. I took time out a few weeks ago, was getting hacked off but back now and hoping to get somewhere soon.

I have enough tools just about and hopefully 2012 will be different. I need to thank you and John for the help over the last 12 months but alway get stuck and into a rut. Must go….. am off on night shift…lol. Hopefully one day I can chuck it.

    Kind Regards

    Donald

    1. Hey Donald,

Thanks for your comments, why not try it right now, it takes like 2 mins to do and could potentially save you a lot of lost traffic.
Sometimes people have some massive traffic streams broke without knowing it, I’ve done it myself only last month!
Yeah, I hope you find your way in 2012, I’m always here if you need help.
Use quitting the day job as your goal, it will motivate you!

      Regards,

      Dave.

  5. Hi Dave

This looks pretty easy, I`ve been trying to figure this out for sometime now but – I have a question – will this work with Apache?
I will be using this on my site as fast as I can put it up if I can put it up.
Thanks very much and have a great day because having and knowing this just made mine.

    1. Hey Mark,

Good question! Sorry, I have no way of testing with apache, so I can not say if it would work, why not try it and call back here to let us all know, I would appreciate it!
      You’re very welcome!

      Regards,

      Dave.

  6. Hey Dave, 404’s are always a good addition to your websites and one which I am truly guilty of not doing 🙁 (Written down) It’s great advertising real-estate for your own and as you have stated if you don’t have your own products affiliated products.

    Nice video Dave ‘Gold’

    Dan

    1. Hey Dan,

Cheers mate! The good thing about this is that once you have edited the pages, it just takes like 2 seconds to upload to another domain.
      I love ‘easy’ traffic 🙂

      Regards,

      Dave.

  7. Hello Dave,

Great Stuff(as always) and as always you come through with yet another way to over deliver by ‘giving ‘ us the keys to ‘Lost traffic’ and yes there are those that are charging for this info.

If it is ok with you Dave I would like to either use the video on my blog like I did with Dave Nicholson’s Building Online Income Streams or just send out a link back to your blog to my few hundred subscribers. Either way I would really like to get this information out to my friends and subscribers( plus I hope it will help your subscriber base as well.) So let me know I think this really great stuff and I Thank you for sharing this with us.

    To your continued success,
    David Caudill

    1. Hey David,

Yeah, feel free to place the video on your blog, no problem at all.
I’d appreciate it if you would send people back to my blog for the download though.
Thanks for your sharing and compliments.

      Talk soon,

      Dave.

  8. Hi Dave,

first of all thanks for the video, and for the files you prepared.
This is really genial idea, I have one new blog, still make some things on it, but already have some traffic, and sure will use this tecniqueto monetize this traffic, while I am working on the site.
Thanks a lot, and keep rocking, your blog is full treasure of cool ideas.
    Ciao,

  9. “Hi” Dave. Thanks for the great tool for creating those 400 and 500 error pages. I’ve been fooling around trying to create my own, but with very little success. Now anxious to start using your method.

    Richard

  10. Hi Dave,
Thanks for reminding me of this. I’ve heard of it before
and would have put it up. But new things come in and
it just went in the big hole of oblivion. There might even
exist a WP-plugin for it, but yours are just as easy.

    Cheers
    Gunnar

  11. Hi Dave

I don’t send many comments but i have always benefited from all your tips and this one is no exception.

    Best Wishes to your success

    kind regards

  12. Hi Dave,

I followed the video but you did something different. If I rememebr you copy & pasted the 3 error messages from the “Read Me First instructions”. I did everything from my 404 folder and then uploaded. Didn’t work.

I need to go on night shift so can’t do anything till next week. I ahd another problem with Multi Profit Site but with that I sent D9 a support ticket and also asked if they could sort out the error messages.

What a hellish night to go to work, severe gales up here in Scotland. Dave, if I gave you my contact details would you be able to have a look.

      1. Hi Dave,

I won’t say lol to the first part of your reply. Didn’t lose anything, but still hellish. Now Monday evening, a bit milder but apparently calm before the storm. Sent my details and again , Thanks.

        Kind Regards

        Donald

  13. Hi Dave

I have a question for you
Can I add other affiliate offers to it along with yours.
    and how ?
why not just do another video showing that too as well…
I am not tech guy and just started my journey and still learning…

    thank you for the download.

  16. Hi Dave, great information and thanks for the video. Say, I did edit my .htaccess file and put the error information into the file, but it did not work. Below is what is currently in my .htaccess file. How should I edit and put the 3 lines into the file?
    # BEGIN WordPress

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

    # END WordPress
